GoldCare Selected to Integrate Client Information in Central LHIN for Community Support Service Agencies

Waterloo, Ontario – December 19, 2008

Campana Systems Inc. is pleased to announce that the Central Community Support Services Network (CCSSN), through the Capacity Building Initiative, has selected Campana’s award-winning software, GoldCare, to integrate client information for their home and community support programs across central Ontario.

CCSSN developed the Capacity Building Initiative to address the important need for infrastructure development across the community support sector. Ontario’s Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is providing financial support for this initiative to support the growing demand for seniors’ services. With 44 agencies collaborating, the Capacity Building Initiative also allows organizations to work together to meet the system level goals of the Central LHIN, such as implementing the interRAI Community Health Assessment to establish a common assessment protocol.

GoldCare provides community-based professionals with a versatile home and community support management solution to manage and support the many aspects of community care and services: client and employee management, scheduling (day programs, transportation, and homemaking services), volunteer management, a standardized interRAI-CHA assessment, MIS Reporting, and more. Using GoldCare, information can be shared across multiple applications through a single interface, providing integrated and streamlined data access via a hosted environment.

About the Capacity Building Initiative and the Central Community Support Services Network

Funded by the Central LHIN, the Capacity Building Initiative was developed by the Central Community Support Services Network to address the need for infrastructure development across the community support sector. With a variety of small and large agencies offering services to seniors, people with physical disabilities and palliative needs, the initiative offers a collaborative and coordinated approach to assist the agencies in continuous quality improvement, service innovation and standardized systems.
