GoldCare’s Incident Reporting application allows your organization to track and report on incidents involving clients/residents, medications, employees, and more. This information will help you to identify why an incident occurred, which provides you with the knowledge to improve client/resident safety and quality of care in a way that’s consistent with your organization’s risk management practices.
Streamline Incident Reporting: Incident details, such as persons involved in the incident, their role, date, location, etc., are entered into windows that streamline and ease the reporting process. Partial information can be saved and completed at a later time. Once an incident report has been created, an email notification is sent to the appropriate employees.
Review Incidents: Post-incident review details (recommendations, resulting actions, incident status, etc.) are stored and accessible through a history that can be used for comparison purposes, thereby allowing you to make informed decisions when addressing a current incident (e.g. "how did we manage a similar incident in the past?"). This history can also be used to support incident tracking.
Maintain Risk Management Practices: Incident report criteria, security settings and user permissions can be configured to comply with your organization’s risk management policies. This ensures that incident reports provide you with accurate data that can be used properly to assess risk and implement corresponding risk avoidance and reduction processes.
Incident Reporting can be integrated with GoldCare’s Infection Control and Health Records applications, providing you with a comprehensive clinical view of each client/resident.
